Founder & CEO
Matthew has 23 years’ experience leading operations, clinical, and sales teams in long-term care environments, including independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing. He has directly supervised the opening of more than 50 assisted living residences, 24 independent living residences and three new long-term care facilities.
Chief Administration Officer
Steven is responsible for project evaluations as well as the coordination of the financial activities for acquisitions, new developments, and turnaround opportunities in support of daily operations. Steven has a strong background in finance and commercial real estate accounting, focusing on financial modeling and data analytics. Prior to joining Proveer, Steven managed a senior housing portfolio as Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. Additionally, he held the Chief Financial Officer role for a successful Senior Living Management Company focused on restructuring financial processing systems. Steven earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Principal – Property Development
Rod has over 25 years’ experience in real estate brokerage, investments, healthcare consulting and senior housing development, management and ownership. Prior to joining Proveer, Rod founded Fearon Investments, a real estate company specializing in healthcare markets with concentration on the brokerage, consulting and development of assisted living, independent living and skilled nursing facilities.
Principal – Investments & Legal
James Taylor has been a force in the senior living industry since 2012 and now elevates Proveer by providing general counsel and investments expertise. In his career, James has closed over 6 billion dollars in financial transactions. He oversees and identifies all legal aspects of the company while establishing solid relationships with investors. James designed, financed, and has overseen timely construction or renovation of four Class-A assisted living and memory care communities. Whether ground-up or renovation, James has delivered projects on time and on budget.
Vice President of People and Culture
Greg has over 30 years of business and human resources leadership experience, 18 of which have been in long-term care environments. He has provided strategic human resources leadership, consulting, and project management to more than 150 business units in all 50 states. He specializes in linking people with operational strategies to achieve organizational excellence and unsurpassed customer experience. Prior to joining the Proveer Team as a strategic partner, Greg founded Pinnacle People Development, LLC, a consulting firm that specializes in leadership development, human resources consulting, and project management. Greg maintains that his greatest love is found within the walls of his own home with his bride of 32 years and his four amazing children. However, working with this team of knowledgeable and committed professionals in providing peace of mind for our seniors, families, and partners runs a close second.
Director of Project Management
Jonni-Renee is responsible for the planning, implementation, and completion of various projects throughout the Proveer portfolio, ranging from renovations and construction to software implementations while also doing all she can to support the communities. Her organizational skills and experience as a professional dancer, dance director, marketing/staffing/operational coordinator with various cruise lines and childrens’ programs gives her the background and confidence to tackle any project. Having traveled the globe, Jonni-Renee’s international experience ensures Proveer delivers “world-class” service to its residents, families, and team members, as well as keeping the “human touch” in everything Proveer does.
Regional VP of Operations
Shelley comes to Proveer with more than 18 years of experience in the senior living industry, having served as an Executive Director in California, Texas, and Louisiana with two national providers. Shelley possesses a strong leadership background in both operations and office management, yet what drives her most in any position she holds is her faith, her core values, and her caring heart for other people. With a wide array of responsibilities, Shelley’s eye for detail and passion for superior customer service strengthens the Proveer leadership team, allowing us all to provide quality care and support for not only the residents but our valued team members.
